Camilla has always had a passionate interest in foreign languages. During her time at university, she worked in several different areas, which contributed to her professional linguistic training. After graduating in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, she took part in two Erasmus projects in Germany, a study project in Saarbrücken and a work program in Hamburg, where she was an intern at the Italian Culture Institute.
After working for about a year in tourism with the Naples Provincial Tourist Board, she decided to follow her dream of studying translation. She obtained an MA in professional translation from the Altiero Spinelli Interpreters and Translators School in Milan and began working as a freelance translator. She is currently a senior project manager with Dotwords.
A proud native of the Campania region, Camilla loves the sea in all seasons. She enjoys listening to music (although her Spotify playlist is not suitable if you want to dance) and continues to enlarge her collection of hats. The only rule you need to follow with her is to never ask her to share a piece of cake.
